I am always so curious to find out what type of tree people have these days: Real or Fake?
I prefer a real tree because of the aroma it leaves in the house. I know many people cannot have real due to allergies. I would love to hear what everyone else prefers and why:) We are planning on getting our tree next weekend along with putting up all our decorations. I am going to try and get a little creative with our tree this year and will post pics when we get it up :) Thanks for stopping by,

As far as our Christmas tree, Steve and I have always had artificial and for us we both just like that best. Growing up I remember having a real tree when I was very young, but since then it's been fake. It fits perfect in our house and there's no clean up or watering the tree. But for people that love the fun of going to pick out a fresh one, and having the aroma throughout the house, I think that would be great too. So I do think both are nice. I cannot wait to see what you end up doing with yours!! I am dying to know if it involves decorative mesh!!!

I have always had a fake one. Never had a real one as a kid either. My parents were always afraid they would catch on fire.
We have a real one in our great room, and a fake one in the basement family room. Our great room has 14' cathedral ceilings, so every year we trek out to find the perfect 12' monster tree and cut it down ourselves. Nothing beats the smell of a fresh cut tree.
