Progress

Well, I didn't get into the 160's but I did lose exactly 1 pound. Today I am meeting with a friend of mine who is competing in a swimsuit competition. She has been wanting to do this for a long time and will be competing in 3 1/2 weeks. I know I won't ever look like her but she is going to give me some tips today on healthy choices to make and some at home workouts since I don't have a gym membership. By July, I am hoping to be at least to my pre-prego weight if not, a couple pounds lighter:) Thanks for stopping by, hope you all have a great day:)

Crawling, Pics, Trails...Oh My!! Not to mention Weight Loss

Good Morning to all!
 This is going to be quite a large post due to me not posting in  a long time. I have been super busy but I am now ready to share with you all what has been going on. First things first... my 9 month old started crawling so I have been trying to keep tabs on her, She is into EVERYTHING and I am still adjusting to what things I need to put away for while until she learns she cannot touch it:0 (yeah good luck!) Next, I just have to share some pics of my little one that I, of course, just think are too cute!!

On a different note, they have opened up this new trail near my house that I absolutely LOVE!! It's perfect to walk with Nova so I don't have to fight traffic and when I go running it's nice because it's not hard concrete and easy on my knees. Not too mention there is a 360 degree view of the mountains and city:) I snapped a few shots on my walk the other morning...take a look...

Now....drum roll please......as for the weight loss, I am going to put myself out there and hold myself accountable for what I am trying to accomplish. I am trying first to get back to my pre prego weight, then lose another 10-15 pounds. I don't think it is unrealistic for me I just need to feel more comfortable about myself and the way that clothes fit. Having a baby and gaining weight like that has made it a challenge and I intend to to lose it. So here it is... I now weigh 172.2. My pre prego weight was 149. It is mid week but I told myself at the beginning of this week that I wanted to be in the 160's by Monday. That leaves me 5 more days including today to do it. My plan is to not change my lifestyle to unreasonable measures that I will not stick to long term. For those of you that know me.... that means I will not give up my alcoholic beverages. I know this is a big part in losing weight, but long term...that will never happen. So...I ask you all to come along with me on this journey and hold me accountable!! That's it....

Ahh...the blogging world...

So I am sitting at my computer..enjoying a cup of Joe....


 browsing  on some blogs that I really like and I am stuck. I always want to join parties and cannot figure out how to do it. It says: Grab a button!! Join our party!!. Well... I would but I don't know how. I am still new at this and am trying to just learn on my own as I go and well....we can all see how that is going..ha!! Anyway...feel free to leave me a comment and give me instruction or maybe you can do a new blog on how to join the party:) Sorry for the boring blog but I really would like to learn how to join parties:) Or at least be involved:) Have a great day!!

Motivation.

I recently stumbled across a blog that has inspired, motivated, and given me that extra little push I needed. Funny how the most random thing can do that to you! This is her blog: http://www.mamalaughlin.com/. Some opf the things that she says..I couldn't have said better myself. SO back to the motivation. I have starting training for a marathin that I am hoping to do in June. If I happen to not be able to do it I will do a half and of course..the Susan G. Komen.



 I also started doing this 30 day Shred. It makes me super sore and fits into my busy schedule! Hopefully I lose some lbs. and inches cause I am sick of being a fatty!!
