Dear Diary...I did not get any sleep last night because Nova decided to get up in the middle of the night and play. So for the second time I had to let her cry it out. Dear Diary...I am on day 2 of the diet and am having a bit of a hard time because I am use to having a snack in between meals and a glass of wine with dinner. Two moe days.Two more days.
Any tips on sleeping habits for toddlers would be greatly appreciated! Today we are going to take Nova for a picnic and I will post pics soon! Thanks in advance:)
Yes I missed another Monday weigh in..blah blah... but today, I am not proud of my weight AT ALL! I basically been out on the lose for a week since I had no little one with me. I hopped on the scale this morning to find a disappointing number of 165 exactly. That's ok though. I am also starting my 3 day diet today and I am really excited to see how it goes. I am hoping to lose 10 lbs to get me out of the 160 rut.Hope those around the LV valley had a great start of the new school week!! Happy Tuesday:)
I often find myself thinking about how or what I can do to relax more and not be so uptight and nit picky about some of the more simple things in life. Today...I found it. I found that doing an early morning run when everyone else is still in bed and there is no noise around but the birds chirping helps bring me to a more grounded level. I feel more relaxed. I feel more accomplished. And I love that feeling! So this morning, with no toddler around, I kicked 4.15 miles in the ASS!!!
Yes I have a slow pace....
And yes I always look like a cherry tomato after I does vigorous cardio:)
Happy Friday! I am going on day number 5 with no little person running around and I gotta say...as much as I miss her...I am enjoying every second! She will be back in 2 1/2 days and then it's back to total mommy mode:) My hubby surprised me this week with a little date that just made my day! He took me downtown where we did dinner and stayed the night. Then we went to a movie.It's not very often we get to do that so it was super nice!I feel it is important now that we have a child, to stay connected and focus on US sometimes. And this couldn't have been a better time! I did get off the bandwagon a bit as far as my eating habits goes but will jump back on ASAP. Here are a couple flashbacks..Enjoy:)
SOrry for not posting on Monday. I sent my daughter off for a week and have beeen busy ever since:) My weight on Monday was160.8!! Wooowhooo! I was so excited to see that number! Starting next Monday I am goiung to try this little three day diet I found on Pinterest to hopefully give me that little extra push over the 160's. I will definitely keep you all posted!

This morning i was 163.4. Yea!!! I have really cut out a lot of carbs, but...., I still include them in my life because of the cardio and well come on lets face it.....I love carbs:) Since this is a lifestyle and not a diet, I refuse to knock out things that I love. This is a process and it takes time. My motto is to live life to its fullest and living life is not eating the things that you love (in moderation of course). Good Morning to all! I was browsing for some new, healthy recipes and ran across these Balls and thought "these would be great after a workout!" I did not add the dark chocolate chips so my version is only 70 calories per ball:)

So I decided that every Monday I am going to weigh in. Years ago, when I was down to 134, I was in a conetst with a group of friends that whoever lost the most weight each week would get a prize that the other girls had to pitch in and get. Manicure, Pedi, whatever. I think that all those incentives are what kept me going and helped me lose weight. So I am going to do a similar thing on here. Every Monday I will weigh in and feel free to do the same. Leave a comment letting me know if you are losing, gaining, etc. and maybe we can beat it together. Or if we are really depressed......pour a glass of wine??? haha....So this morning I was at 165.6. My hubs took me to a nice dinner last night before the big Real Madrid soccer game here in Vegas so I did splurge a little. But I did do my Shred this morning and a 1 mile walk with the little one:)
Well, I have changed my blog. I woke up the other morning and was thinking, "what do I want to do with myself?" I mean I am a stay at home mom (which to me is a full time job) and sometimes I feel that I want to not only better myself but I want to better and inspire others. Since my goal and focus for the past 14 months has been trying to lose my baby weight and keep it off, I thought what better way to encourage myself and possibly others. So that's when I decided to restructure my blog and have it be about my journey through this process.
Beginning August 1st, I started doing the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. I am sore but I already feel a difference in my body. Here are some pictures I took Aug.1
