Everything in between..:)

Boy has it been FOREVER since I have written a post. I got to tell ya..since the hubs has been home I have been busy not only taking care of the little one, but also a grown man..haha. I have been working a lot and just have been really busy with everything. I thought I would share a couple photos. Since Halloween, first we ended up going on a spur of the moment trip to Coronado Island. It's in California where my husband and I got married. It was such a blast!

Then of course it was Thanksgiving and we had a nice to time. We went up to our in laws place and ate outside since the weather was just beautiful.

The hubs and I decided to try out black Friday and ended up getting our Christmas present early:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new couches. This is the first piece of furniture we have bought together since we  have been together (13 years).

We did put up our tree in November and since our couches took up most of the space in the living room and we had to put it in a different spot. I think it looks great.

Lastly I have been training for a half marathon I am running in January. Here a couple pics from that after my long runs:)

I haven't been losing weight but I sure am trying. Hope you all are having a great holiday season so far ! I will try not to wait so long to post and am going this weekend to finish up my Christmas shopping and to get stuff for my blog giveaway. Wish me luck!

Halloween Fun!

Thought I would post a few pics from Halloween. It was the first time we took Nova trick-or-treating and she had a blast! She would say trick-or-treat and thank you:) Her daddy had surgery the morning of and we were so glad he was able to make it to join in:) We got one family photo of the night but it didn't turn out super well.I intend on getting some type of family photo done before the holidays.

Goodbye 160's!!!

It's been a long time since I have done a post! I have been busy and it's gonna be even crazier. Long story hubs broke his arm and I am now taking care of him and our little peanut. I think the stress has taken a toll on me and could possibly be the nudge that sent me into the 150's...and I think I am okay with that:) I have also decided to run a half marathon on January 19th, 2013 and I am sooo excited!! I have to start training on the 11th of NOvember  so right now I am trying to get myself healthy and in tip-top shape:) I will try to keep everyone posted as much as possible. My little peanut is going to be an Indian for Halloween and I will try to post pics as soon as possible. She is gonna look so stinkin cute! Hope everyone has a safe Halloween!!

A little boost..

Boy have a been busy...I can barely catch my breath. I have been out of town for the last week and am finally settling back down. I went to a baby shower in Reno and that was a blast then as soon as I got home I headed straight for our fishing house for a little R&R. In between all of this traveling you can imagine I haven't had the best luck in staying on track with eating good. I haven't really gained (except for the 2 lbs that fluctuate) and since I have been home I have been hitting the pavement hard. I have been around a lot of people lately that I just don't even like to stand next too because they make me feel bad about myself (unintentionally of course) so it was nice when I went to the doctor today (ob) and while she was checking me she said she noticed that I had lost weight in my thighs. She knew I had commented on my weight before,  wondering if she had a post baby magic pill that would get rid of all the extras (which I think only exists in my imagination) and she of course said no.  That made me feel like even though I am not losing weight, my body is changing so it gave me a little boost of hope:) I hope to get better at posting more often and I hope to have more pics downloaded so I can fill u all in more. Put On Hold

Well I finally did it! I finally added on to my tattoo that way it "flowed" a little better. Here is the new and improved and I LOVE IT!!

Since I had my tattoo redone, I cannot run for at least two weeks. But I am thinking I would like to run this morning. It's been a week and the tattoo has not peeled so I should be ok. Besides, I am a little frustrated since I really wanted to get under 160 by the end of September and well, my weigh in today was 163. I don't see that happening. So I move on. I focus on a new goal. That new goal is to be 155 by the end of October. That is 8 lbs. and I think it is totally achievable! I will have to work hard and really try to stay on track even though there is a lot of things going on this month.

On another note, I have started trying this new thing in my coffee. I heard it is really good for you so I thought I would give it a try and I love it! Instead of using creamer, I add the Silk Pure Coconut milk.

Fall Decor, Piercings, and More!!

Today has been a busy, busy day so far and its just now lunch time. I guess first things first. I FINALLY found my fall wreath my mother-in-law made me a couple of years ago so I was able to hang it up.

This morning my little one had a doctors appt. and we were planning on getting her ears pierced while we were there. Unfortunately, they were out of earings so we decided to take her to Claire's to have them done and they did a great job! Look how cute:)

She wasn't in the best of mood because when we were at the doctor, she also had all her shots updated. But what a little trooper she was!

And last but not least. Can I just say, for the record, is it is hotter than a mo fo here! I tried running last night around 5 and I was so slow turtles were passing me! Ha! I usually run in the morning, which is cool and a lot easier, clearly. I don't think I will be running in the afternoons until it gets cooloer out. P.S. After a big weekend of pretty much eating like s*** and having a couple cocktails, I finailly weighed myself this morning  and it was 163 exactly. I am pushing myself extra hard on the Shred and my runnning so I hoping to get in the 150's by the end of September. Wish me luck!

Camping Fun

Well I didn't do any sort of weigh in because the hubs and I went on a little mini vacation in our family's newest addition which is a 20' Toy Hauler. We went just up to the local mountains but it sure was fun! Here are a couple pics:)

The hubby is now getting ready for a trip to Colorado for the Firefighter Memorial. As for me, well I am struggling and getting so frustrated with losing weight that I might try weight watchers. I am going to check it out today and see if it's something I can try:) Happy Thursday!

Can you say frazzled??

Firstly, talk about a crazy week! I didn't put in Mondays weigh in because I have pretty much been without a computer due to the fact that some people have nothing better to do but hack into other peoples things, send viruses, etc. So my Monday weigh in was: 162. Apparently the 150's are going to be  a lot harder to get into than I thought, but what else is new! I have been better at putting in my miles (running) and that seems to help but I think I'm still gonna have to step it up a notch. I also am kinda gonna do this 50 day challenge I came up with. I've seen some things similar to it but I targeted what would be more helpful for me. I am gonna do 50 sit-ups for 50 days and see if I can tell a difference in my waistline. Feel free to join me and keep my posted on your progress. I did my first 50 today!

Secondly, I Nova turned 15 months old today and I have been having a lot of questions late;y regarding things she is doing and things she should be doing , so I found this book my mother-in-law gave to me a long time ago while I was still preggers and I have found it quite helpful. Some of you may recognize it:

Have any of you used this book and if so, did you find it useful? I am hoping that it will help me understand some of the things she is going through right  now.

 And lastly,  Sunday we went to the lake and just hung out on the shore. I was able to snap a couple of pics of my little cutie.

Dear Diary..

Dear Diary...I did not get any sleep last night because Nova decided to get up in the middle of the night and play. So for the second time I had to let her cry it out. Dear Diary...I am on day 2 of the diet and am having a bit of a hard time because I am use to having a snack in between meals and a glass of wine with dinner. Two moe days.Two more days.

Any tips on sleeping habits for toddlers would be greatly appreciated! Today we are going to take Nova for a picnic and I will post pics soon! Thanks in advance:)

Weigh In and Day 1

Yes I missed another Monday weigh in..blah blah... but today, I am not proud of my weight AT ALL! I basically been out on the lose for a week since I had no little one with me. I hopped on the scale this morning to find a disappointing number of 165 exactly. That's ok though. I am also starting my 3 day diet today and I am really excited to see how it goes. I am hoping to lose 10 lbs to get me out of the 160 rut.Hope those around the LV valley had a great start of the new school week!! Happy Tuesday:)

Finding Peace

I often find myself thinking about how or what I can do to relax more and not be so uptight and nit picky about some of the more simple things in life. Today...I found it. I found that doing an early morning run when everyone else is still in bed and there is no noise around but the birds chirping helps bring me to a more grounded level. I feel more relaxed. I feel more accomplished. And I love that feeling! So this morning, with no toddler around, I kicked 4.15 miles in the ASS!!!

 Yes I have a slow pace....
And yes I always look like a cherry tomato after I does vigorous cardio:)

Flashback Time:)

Happy Friday! I am going on day number 5 with no little person running around and I gotta much as I miss her...I am enjoying every second! She will be back in 2 1/2 days and then it's back to total mommy mode:) My hubby surprised me this week with a little date that just made my day! He took me downtown where we did dinner and stayed the night. Then we went to a movie.It's not very often we get to do that so it was super nice!I feel it is important now that we have a child, to stay connected and focus on US sometimes. And this couldn't have been a better time! I did get off the bandwagon a bit as far as my eating habits goes but will jump back on ASAP. Here are a couple flashbacks..Enjoy:)

Weigh In Monday...SOrry I'm late...

SOrry for not posting on Monday. I sent my daughter off for a week and have beeen busy ever since:) My weight on Monday was160.8!! Wooowhooo! I was so excited to see that number! Starting next Monday I am goiung to try this little three day diet I found on Pinterest to hopefully give me that little extra push over the 160's. I will definitely keep you all posted!
